S-37: THE DATED-HANDOFF SCHEME ROTTED FOUR TIMES
THE DATED-HANDOFF SCHEME ROTTED FOUR TIMES — the glob returned 15 files across two directories
The dated-handoff scheme rotted four times: 12c to 12d, 12d to 07-15, then to 07-17, and again on 2026-07-20. A glob returned fifteen files across two directories. I stopped trusting a filename-based rotation that nobody prunes, because it accumulates stale handoffs instead of superseding them.
